Air quality

Data provided by the probes of the Bay of Cadiz Port Authority

The information provided by the four air quality probes installed by the Bay of Cadiz Port Authority (pollutant gases and atmospheric particulate matter) is shown below.
These data are updated every hour, and show the values corresponding to the average of the last 24 hours for NO2, PM2.5 and PM10, and the average of the last 8 hours in the case of O3.
For high humidities the particle values may be distorted.
The data are not validated, but serve as a guideline for the trend and origin of the mentioned parameters and indicators.

Junta de Andalucía Daily Air Quality Reports

The data used to produce the daily air quality reports are provisional and have not undergone a validation process. Therefore, it is possible that the daily indices generated with these data have different values to those that would actually result after the validation process. They are published with a delay of approx. one day. For more information, please consult the website of the Junta de Andalucía.

Direct access to download the application:

Check the website:

https://www.iqair.com/

With this application you can have all the information about the air quality in a given location. The weather and air quality forecast can be quickly and easily accessed in a simple and intuitive way. This application has direct access to historical data, real time (with some delay) and forecast (up to 72 hours) on air quality and pollution levels. It allows the consultation of detailed information on the main parameters, being able to configure direct access to the air quality control stations located in Avenida Marconi in Cádiz and the Río San Pedro station in Puerto Real, as well as the rest of the stations of the Air Quality Network of the Bay of Cádiz. These data are pending validation. The data from these stations belong to the European Environment Agency (EEA).

Weekly Technical Assistance Reports

In the attached link you can access the weekly reports issued by the University of Huelva, which collaborates with the APBC in the global analysis of the evolution of pollutant gases and atmospheric particulate matter in representative stations of the Andalusian Air Quality Network in BAY OF CADIZ during a given week, including the experimental stations of the Junta de Andalucía in La Cabezuela and Cádiz. From the year 2022 onwards, data from the new APBC probes installed in La Cabezuela and Cádiz have been incorporated. The data are not validated, but serve as a guide to the trend and origin of the aforementioned parameters and indicators.
