Ro-Ro Traffic
The Port of Cadiz offers extensive, secure and competitive facilities to attend ro-ro traffic at its four docks.
It has 6 ramps with a capacity of 100 tonnes, distributed between the Bay’s multifunctional docks; due to their exceptional width these ramps permit the simultaneous two-way circulation of two loaded vehicles, which optimizes loading and unloading times.
The Bay of Cadiz Port has a surface of 80,000 square metres at the disposal of ro-ro traffic, as well as an efficient, modern and safe system for onshore operations.
It currently serves a historic ro-ro traffic line, the only one declared of general interest by the Government of Spain regarding traffic with the Canary Islands.
The excellent land accesses that connect the port allow goods to arrive quickly and safely anywhere on the continent.
